How it all began ………….
Fountainstown Club was founded in 1936 by a group of residents and since then it has been at the heart of the community in Fountainstown. The Founders met with the objective of developing Fountainstown to provide sporting facilities for everyone. Initially, the club had Tennis, Archery, Pitch and Putt, kids’ discos, Sunday Mass, Table Tennis, and movie nights. The club was always in demand and buzzing with energy amongst the community.
